Abstract

Hydatid disease is a parasitic infestation caused by Echinococcus granulosus, commonly seen in liver followed by lungs and other organs. But giant (10cm or more) cysts are comparatively rare. We report a case of a 13 year old boy with giant hydatid cyst of right lung.
