Abstract
In the field of oral and cranio-maxillofacial surgery, use of laser has become the state-of-the art as an efficient surgical tool since decades for both hard as well as soft tissues. This article showcases a comprehensive review of application of lasers in this field. The incorporation of lasers into the surgical field has led to various advances in surgical therapy and improved patient care. The ease of its use and decrease postoperative discomfort and minimal complication warrants its use.
