Abstract

Chondromyxoid fibroma is one of the least common benign tumors of bone . It occurs more often in males than females and in second or third 1 decade of life . We present a 60 years old female, with chondromyxoid fibroma of subtrochanteric femur complicated by ipsilateral neck of femur fracture. Curettage and bone grafting was done and stabilized with proximal femoral nail (PFN). Chondromyxoid fibroma of subtrochanteric femur, with ipsilateral neck of femur is an unusual presentation. We managed both the lesions and neck of femur fracture with a single implant (PFN). The fracture and the lesion got consolidated, without any complications
