It gives me immense joy and satisfaction to bring out the issue of RJPS Vol 9, issue 1 of 2019. The present issue contains 1 review and 4 research articles including 1 article covering hospital pharmacy aspect. All the articles have been peer reviewed and efforts of reviewers in meticulously and critically evaluating them is highly appreciated.

Research is an ever ongoing process and researchers are highly supportive in sending their articles for publication in RJPS as their priority. In reciprocation to the large number of articles received, the editorial team is always on its heels in coding them and subjecting them for reviewing with the help of competent referees after plagiarism check. Thus, improving the quality of RJPS by selecting worthy articles remains the motto of entire team. Research in pharmacy at post graduate, doctorate level and projects funded by RGUHS for research are the usual sources of contributions to RJPS and the editorial team acknowledges this aspect wholeheartedly.

The excellent support, encouragement and guidance of Dr. S Sacchidanand, Hon’ble Vice chancellor; Shri Shivanand Kapashi, Registrar; Dr. B.J.Mahendra, Director Prasaranga and other officials of RGUHS, and the free hand given to me tagged with ever ready support of entire team of editorial board makes me not only energetic but makes this work a joy. This issue has instructions to authors in print form at the end so that all the stake holders can preserve them and circulate to all the authors for preparing their manuscripts accordingly.
