It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction to bring out the back issue of RJPS Vol 5, issue 2-4 of 2015 that bridges the gap with current issues. The prestigious quarterly journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences i.e., RJPS from RGUHS was not published after the 1st issue of 2015. The honorable vice chancellor Dr. S Sacchidanand entrusted me this task as Editor-in-Chief on 30th May 2019 and gave a dedicated team of editorial board members and able guidance of Dr. B.J. Mahendra, Director Prasaranga and Dr. Siddamallaiah University librarian along with patronage of dedicated officials Sri. Shivanand Kapashi, Registrar and Dr. K.B. Lingegowda, Registrar (E). He also gave the freedom and support and necessary guidelines to bring out the lapsed issues along with current issues to the present team for executing this task.
It is under the guidance and patronage of these noble personalities, we had brain storming sessions to chalk out strategies for bridging the gap and ensure continuity of the journal. Thus, it is the combined efforts of the entire team the work started taking its shape and has seen the light of the day.
I take this opportunity to thank Dr. S. Sacchidanand honorable vice chancellor and all the university officials associated with it for having trust in me and my team. I take this opportunity to thank the entire team of editorial board, reviewers, contributors, well wishers who took great pains to put back the journal publication on the track.
