Research and publications have always been the mainstay of health education. Research increases understanding of clinical medicine, critical appraisal and critical thinking. It also helps in intellectual development and career development. Publication on the other hand is important for dissemination of knowledge, improves our knowledge and its application. Other researchers can also use this published material to advance their research.

Scientific writing is an art and science which is very important part of research and publication. It helps us to communicate our observations and analyses accurately. A good scientific writing is very much required for a writer to present the needs and objectives of the study clearly, interpret and communicate the results without any confusion and discuss the study in a convincing way. However, the art of scientific writing is taken lightly and not given due importance. Lack of proficiency in language skills, lack of originality, ambiguity in presenting the results and failure to follow the author’s guidelines can lead to rejection of manuscript for publication. So, it is very important to show our skills and advance our knowledge in scientific writing to improve the chances of getting our research published. So, fellow researchers, show your writing skills and make your work visible to the entire world.

HAPPY WRITING!!!!
