Abstract

Chandamaruta chenduram is a popular formulation among practitioners of Siddha system in treatment of Vatavyadhi and Kushtha. This formulation contains 4 parts of Hingula, 2 parts of Rasakarpura, 1 part each of Souvira, Gandhaka and Rasasindhura. All the ingradients have to be mixed together given bhavana with either egg white or breast milk This formulation was prepared in accordance with classical reference and was su*cted to chemical analysis and Namburi phased spot test procedures. Methodology, observation and results have been detailed in this article.
