Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Chandraprbha vati in symptomatic BPH cases
Material and Methods- 480 patients suffering from BPH were screened and 50 patients who fit into the criteria were taken for the study they were analyzed with AUA score each of the patient was gievn chandraprabha vati 400mg 1 tid for 12 wks. Clinical features were assessed after 12 wks and follow up done after 6 months.
Results- Out of 50 patients 13 cured of symptoms, 16 significatn reduction in symptoms, 7 reffered for intervention, in 1 symptoms worsened, 8 lost for follow up.
Conclusion- Chandraprabhavati helps in satisfactory resolution of symptoms in prostatic hypertrophy patients with lower AUA Scores and lesser residual volumes.
